North Cape Commons is a large mixed-use subdivision in the Village of Mt. Horeb. The subdivision includes 143 single family and duplex lots and 16 commercial lots along County Highway ID, the main road into the Village.
Mount Horeb is a growing community with a great school system and recently named Dane County’s best suburban neighborhood. Surrounding are many interesting attractions including a local brewery, the Duluth Trading Post outlet and only minutes from Tyrol Basin Ski area, Blue Mounds and Stuart Lake parks and the Cave of the Mounds. It is very convenient to many retail outlets in the subdivision and along county road ID and is only 7 miles from the Epic employment campus in Verona.
There are currently about 12 fully improved single family lots available in North Cape and another 43 single family lots to be improved in the future. The lots now available are generously sized from 12,555 sq. ft. to 19,778 sq. ft. Included in the available lots are 5 of the original 15 lots backing to the Norsk Golf Club property, a Village owned golf course operated by the non-profit company, Friends of Norsk. Included with any golf course lot is a free 2 year family membership in the Norsk Golf Club!
The subdivision is covered by deed restrictions intended to maintain the quality of building on the sites and help maintain values. All lots are served my municipal services. All homes require 25% or more brick or stone on the front giving the subdivision a very solid feel and a look designed to preserve the owners’ home values.
The commercial properties are in a TIF district of around 35 acres. Many convenient services are offered within the subdivision including the hotel, day care services, grocery, banking, a chocolate factory and deli, pet grooming, fast food and others.

“Builders Discount” is $2,000 per lot and available only for direct sales to bona fide builders purchasing single family lots and buying directly. Additional discounts available for multi lot sales. Prices may be changed without notice.
